eventually the brain catches on and hurts to learn. this neurofeedback session trains your brain by skipping or rather pausing the music and the video contacts on the screen when your brain is not in a state that is healthy for you. Then your suit it up with your phones that play the relaxing music because you can just listen to your own music and say silence with the stim. The sensors are not really any different than the sensors on the Muse headband there’s one on each ear and One on the forehead at the front then you have maybe a couple more usually two or three around the back of the head a bit. then after your 25 minutes of steamer up you’ll get unhooked and hooked up to the neuralfeedback machine. where it keeps changing shape it’s a little bit psychedelic. it looks a little bit like the screensaver from windows 2000. anyway I’m a bit rambling here so basically they play lovely music that’s very relaxing and dynamic and you watch a relaxing screensaver like thing. as long as your brain is normalized now the sensations is usually takes like five sessions. When your skin gets used to the sailine paste that is used you won’t feel anything. or like a bug is crawling on you lol it all depends on the person. this can feel a bit Tickly itchy a little Burning or Pinchy. they can increase or decrease the intensity as well depending on the sensation of the electro impulses entering into your skin. anyway in the protocol of neural optimal meditation protocol you basically get the stem starting with five minutes and each session they will increase it up to 25 minutes. to produce the proper brain waves that your brain might be missing before you have any sessions of these they will generally brain map you and look at where your brain is lacking in balance. and your brain does the rest of the work sometimes you can even drift off and they say that it’s still effective because it affects the subconscious mind through being able to easily access your brain waves and influence them by training them through use of brain wave stimulation aka stim. you just relax into a mindful and present state. what I really like is that it passively teaches your brain you don’t actually have to think about trying to do anything and manipulate your brain. The thing is it’s more about consistency so some people will show up every day of the week for a session. still I really enjoy it and I have been receiving these for quite a few months now pretty much on a weekly basis for maybe six months. but the sessions themselves are very expensive I find. it’s pretty expensive to purchase the tech but certain neurofeedback or bio feedback places use the protocol and the programs and the technology. Personally I still feel like something is a bit missing with all the muse compatible apps, so i totally hear, feel and know your frustration I have sessions myself for neurofeedback which is a type of Biofeedback and I do a program called neural optimal. both of these can be purchased in the App Store and they’re both compatible with the Muse as well as if you have a heart rate monitor they work well in addition to the muse within the Flame in Mind app as well. and then looking up on the website and two apps one is called FlameinSound, and the best one I want to recommend to you is named FlameInMind. I would recommend checking out fractalU website. Meditation Pics - for meditation-related images. INOS Meditation research- Search for any researched topic on meditation.
